Abstract:
To provide a charging system that can reliably estimate the capacity of a secondary battery with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A charging system 10 has a memory 41 that stores an operation plan in which a plurality of operation periods determined by start and end times of operation of an electric vehicle 50 is set in advance. A charging control unit 30 estimates the capacity of a secondary battery 51 when it is determined that it is possible to secure a period of time from an end of discharge of the secondary battery 51 until a rate of change of an open-circuit voltage becomes less than or equal to a predetermined value and a period of time from an end of charging of the secondary battery 51 until a rate of change of an open-circuit voltage becomes less than or equal to a predetermined value before and after charging of the secondary battery 51 during a period from an operation end time to an operation start time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
