To remarkably improve the working efficiency at the time of assembling chassis by dividing a chassis to a front chassis, a rear chassis, a central chassis and a piping chassis, performing the rust resistant treatment to each chassis, assembling required parts, and thereafter, connecting each chassis to each other with bolts so as to integrally assembling a chassis.
At the time of assembling a chassis 1 of a bus 6, chassis parts such as a front and a rear axle 9, 14, in which front and rear wheels 8, 13 are installed, are assembled in a front and a rear chassis 2, 3 for sub-assembling, and the front and the rear chassis 2, 3 are partially assembled. Continuously, an auxiliary plate of a central chassis 4 and a hat-shaped steel 10 of the front chassis 2 are fastened by bolts so as to connect the central chassis 2, 4 to each other. A square pipe 15 of the rear chassis 3 is made to abut on a rear end of the central chassis 4, and the central and the rear chassis 4, 3 are connected to each other. Furthermore, a chassis 5 for piping is placed on a fixed base 19 of the central chassis 4, and a fastening material 32 is made to abut on both side surfaces of a drawing material, and the drawing material and the central chassis 4 are connected to each other by a T-shape bolt.
