Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chassis dynamometer wherein calibration work is easy.
SOLUTION: Relating to a chassis dynamometer wherein, a roller 3 attached to a spindle axis 2 of a dynamo main body 1 provide with a motor, the roller is rotated with a drive wheel of a car positioned on a periphery surface of the roller through an opening part formed at such part of a floor plate 21 as overlaps is the roller, an arm set stage 22 for setting a calibration arm 19 parallel to a floor surface F is attached while projecting above the floor plate through a set part 16 provided to the dynamo main body, the dynamo main body is provided with a load cell 9 for measuring roller's torque, an opening part 23 and a floor rid 24 which permits free open/close are provided at such part as overlaps with the set part of the floor plate for attaching the arm set stage to the set part, and a weight hanger 20 to which a weight W1 is set is set on both ends of the calibration arm set on the arm set stage.
