Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a confirmation system capable of providing a legitimate target person with an information code including useful information and making it difficult for a person other than the legitimate target person to use the information code.SOLUTION: A confirmation system 1 reads identification information of an identification medium carried by a user, generates an information code recording the identification information or reflection information produced by reflecting the identification information, and issues the generated information code. An information code authentication apparatus, including a reading device for reading identification information from an identification medium carried by the user, and an imaging part capable of imaging an information code C in the case of the information code issued by an information code issuance part being indicated by the identification medium, tries to decode the imaged information code C, and determines applicability of authentication of the information code C on the basis of a usage result in the case of using the identification information obtained by the reading device in the decoding, or a result of comparison between the identification information obtained by the reading device and decoded data obtained by decoding the information code C.
