Abstract:
To provide a check valve which prevents variations of stroke characteristics of a plug to stabilize a set load of the plug, and to provide a brake system.SOLUTION: A check valve 50 is housed in a housing chamber 111 including a first housing chamber 112 and a second housing chamber 113. The check valve 50 includes a cap 51, a plug 52, a spring 53, and a retainer 54. The retainer 54 includes a discoid base part 54a which receives one end of the spring 53. An elastic member 56 is disposed between the cap 51 and the base part 54a. The base part 54a is placed in contact with a step part 113a formed at a border part between the first housing chamber 112 and the second housing chamber 113 by a biasing force of the elastic member 56.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
