To provide a container with a check valve, which is global environment friendly, ensures the safety and reliability of food, and facilitates suction and extrusion of the contents in a container, and also to provide a discharging pump with a check valve.

The check valve 2 which is mounted in a container mouth 11 is formed of: an elastic film body 3; a plug member 4 having a spherical surface that makes intimate contact with the elastic film body 3; and a hook member 5 having a hook portion 51 for preventing the plug member 4 from jumping out of the mouth when fluid is spouted. The plug member 4 and the hook portion 51 for preventing the plug member 4 from jumping out of the mouth directly, press each other and make contact with each other at several points without intervention of the elastic film body 3. The check valve 2 exerts its backflow preventing function by intimate sealing between the elastic film body 3 and the plug member 4.
