To provide a check valve with a secondary side pressure releasing mechanism, having the size equal to an ordinary check valve, easily incorporated into an ordinary faucet, and easily implementing common use of parts with the ordinary check valve with a simple structure.
This check valve has an annular valve seat 21, a check valve body 3 having a disc part 31 seated from the secondary side on the valve seat and a shaft party 32 projected to the primary side from the center of the disc part, a support 22 slidingly supporting the shaft part on its base end, a cap arranged on the primary side of the support so as to cover the shaft part, a spring 5 interposed between the shaft part tip and an opening end part of the cap, energizing the disc part toward the valve seat and energizing the cap toward the support, a secondary side pressure releasing communicating passage 30 for penetrating through the center of the check valve body, and an auxiliary valve element 42 arranged in the cap so as to open-close an outlet 300 of the communicating passage in response to an increase-decrease in secondary side pressure.
