To provide a cheese-like taste food having excellent cheese flavor in view of the fact that conventionally natural cheese is added or cheese-like food using rennet casein is used so as to give food cheese flavor, but sufficient cheese flavor is difficult to obtain, and spices are used together, which causes a defect that if using spices gives a product a flavor which is quite unlike cheese original flavor.
This cheese-like taste food contains an oil and fat enzyme decomposition product obtained by enzyme decomposing oil and fat derived from milk, a casein enzyme decomposition product, and ≤9 wt.% of fermented milk. The oil and fat enzyme decomposition product is preferably a decomposition product which is obtained by dissolving oil and fat derived from milk in acid number 8-150, and the casein enzyme decomposition product is preferably a decomposition product which has an average molecular weight of 250-800.
