PURPOSE: To improve the taste and flavor, drying resistance, and preservability of cheese, by combining cheese with Turkish delight paste and sealing in a container.
CONSTITUTION: Cheese is combined with Turkish delight paste, and sealed in a container. The volatile component of cheese vaporized in the container is adsorbed to the cheese or the paste. The cheese component permeated into the paste exhibits a combined effect. Since the cheese and the paste are combined together as separate phases, the tastes of cheese, paste, and their mixture can be tasted at the same time. Examples of the cheese are, natural cheese, cream cheese, natural cream cheese, etc. The container is pref. a sealable and closeable one having water-proofing properties, especially a closeable container having low oxygen permeability.
