Abstract:
To provide a chelate resin emulsion suitably usable in various fields and having fine particle size, and to provide a method for producing the emulsion.
The chelate resin emulsion contains particles of a vinyl compound polymer having chelate-forming functional groups. The method for producing the chelate resin emulsion comprises carrying out an emulsion polymerization of a vinyl compound having a chelate-forming functional group's ester form followed by saponifying the ester moieties.
