Abstract:
To provide a chemical analysis device which includes an agitation function that agitates a reagent or the like and a measurement object specimen using an ultrasonic element and can estimate the presence/absence of reaction liquid and the liquid level surface of the reaction liquid without using means such as a sensor and visual inspection.SOLUTION: There is provided a chemical analysis device having an ultrasonic agitation function. The ultrasonic agitation function comprises: a piezoelectric element; a plurality of electrodes arranged in the piezoelectric element; a power supply part which applies voltage to the electrodes; a detection part which measures an electrical impedance for every multiple electrodes or any combination of the electrodes; and an analysis part which determines the liquid level height in a reaction vessel with the electrical impedance detected by the detection part. The detection part measures the electrical impedance in such a state where the reaction vessel dispensed with two or more different liquid amounts is made to face the piezoelectric element. The analysis part estimates the liquid level height in the reaction vessel on the basis of a change amount of the electrical impedance measured by the detection part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
