To provide chemical injection equipment for a water intake, which reduces a maintenance operation by preventing the accumulation of scales.
A circular injection pipe (1) for injecting a chemical solution for the prevention of the adhesion of a marine organism into the water intake has a split structure which is composed of two arc-shaped split pipe bodies (11). The injection pipe (1) is constituted by combining the two split pipe bodies (11) together. Covers are attached to both ends of each of the split pipe bodies (11), respectively, and openings (2) are formed in the central portions of the covers, respectively. A plurality of exhaust nozzles are provided at equal intervals on the water intake-side lateral surface of each of the split pipe bodies (11) in such a manner as to make a downward angle of 60° with respect to a horizontal direction.
