To provide a chemical feeding device for treating flying ash at a low cost, capable of feeding a fixed quantity of a chemical for treating the flying ash without using a pump, a flowmeter, a tank scale on the like.
The chemical D for treating the flying ash stored in a chemical reservoir 11 in moved into a measuring feeding tank 13 installed at the lower part by gravity without using the pump, and the cost reduction of the device can be realized because there is no need for any pump or a spare pump. The quantity of the chemical D for treating the flying ash to be fed is measured in the measuring feeding tank 13 and is fed by air pressure. Therefore there is no need for using any flowmeter, load cell, on the like for measuring the quantity of the chemical D, and the cost reduction of the device is realized and the trouble can be prevented from occurring by simplification of the device. The quantity of one batch of the chemical D for treating the flying ash is measured with a plurality of electrodes 19, 20 set in the depth direction of the measuring and feeding tank 13.
