To improve a heat radiating quantity, in a chemical heat accumulating device for supplying water of liquid to a heat accumulating material of liquid.
This chemical heat accumulating device 50 has a heat accumulator 9, a condenser 10 condensing steam and storing condensed water, a recirculating passage 22 returning the steam generated by heating the heat accumulating material 8 in the heat accumulator 9 to the condenser 10 in a heat accumulating process, and a supply passage 23 supplying the water in the condenser 10 to the heat accumulator 9 in a heat radiating process. The heat accumulating material 8 using calcium chloride is stored in a heat accumulating tank 21 of the heat accumulator 9, as the heat accumulating material 8 having a specific gravity larger than the water in a liquid phase state and capable of accumulating or radiating heat by performing reversible reaction causing desorption of the water. The supply passage 23 is constituted so as to supply the water from a lower side part of the heat accumulating tank 21 in the heat accumulating tank 21. In the heat radiating process, supply of the water is finished before the supplied water reaches an interface 8a of the heat accumulating material 8.
