PURPOSE: To reduce a substance movement and a resistance of thermal movement when working medium is absorbed or discharged and make a long life of a chemical heat pump by a method wherein a reactor having a heat exchanging structure filled as absorbing agent with an inter-layer compound of a graphite gaseous phase growth carbon fiber and non-organic metallic salt is used as a pump.
CONSTITUTION: A chemical heat pump is applied as a pump in which an inter- layer compound of graphite gaseous phase growth carbon fiber and a non- organic metallic salt is filled as absorbing agent in a reactor having a heat exchanging structure. Working medium enclosed in the system is moved by this pump. When the working medium is moved to pass through a condenser 3 and an evaporator 5 in sequence, a thermal discharging or absorbing is carried out and then the pump is operated as a heat pump. Since the graphite gaseous phase growing carbon fiber is applied as a raw material for the inter-layer compound, a contact area between the non-organic metallic salt and the working medium is increased and a dispersion resistance of the working medium is also low and further a deterioration of the substance hardly occurs.
