Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical heat storage device capable of quickly increasing the temperature of a heated object.SOLUTION: A chemical heat storage device 8 for heating the heated object (for example, DOC 4) with heat generated by chemical reaction between gas reactive medium (for example, ammonia) and a reactive material includes a reactor 9 storing the reactive material, an adsorber 10 for adsorbing the reactive medium using adsorbent, and storing it, a first connection pipe 11 connecting the adsorber 10 and the reactor 9, a pump 15 for forcibly feeding the reactive medium into the reactor 9, a second connection pipe 12 bypassing the pump 15, and a first valve 13 for changing over the reactor 9 and the adsorber 10 between a communicated state and a non-communicated state via the first connection pipe 11 on which the pump 15 is arranged. When the first valve 13 sets the reactor 9 and the adsorber 10 into the communicated state via the first connection pipe 11, the pump 15 is allowed to operate to forcibly feed the reactive medium into the reactor 9.
