Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical heat storage device capable of preventing the interior of a reaction vessel or an adsorber from turning into an abnormal overpressure state.SOLUTION: A chemical heat storage device 10 comprises: a reaction vessel 11 disposed around a heat exchanger 4, and containing a heat storage medium 13 that generates heat by a chemical reaction with NHand desorbs NHwith received exhaust heat; an adsorber 12 containing an adsorbent 14 that can keep NHby physical adsorption and desorb it; a solenoid valve 16 provided between the reaction vessel 11 and the adsorber 12 and opening or closing a channel between the reaction vessel 11 and the adsorber 12; and a safety valve 18 provided in parallel to the solenoid valve 16 between the reaction vessel 11 and the adsorber 12, and mechanically opening when an internal pressure of the reaction vessel 11 reaches a preset valve opening set pressure. The safety valve 18 includes a check valve function of preventing a flow of NHfrom the adsorber 12 to the reaction vessel 11.
