PURPOSE: To simply and surely diagnose liver cancer or cirrhosis by a method wherein an extracorporal diagnostic chemical which is composed mainly of an antianexin antibody is used and anexin is detected from body fluids or an extracted tissue.
CONSTITUTION: An antianexin I monoclonal antibody 8, 1-3 or an antianexin II monoclonal antibody 1.6 is preferable as an antianexin antibody. Regarding the antianexin antibody, anexin is quantitatively determined from human fluids such as blood serum, urine or the like or an extracted tissue by using an ELISA method, an RIA method, a tissue staining method or the like. For example, in the case of the ELISA method which uses a peroxidase as a labeling agent, a sample to be inspected is fixed to a solid-phase material, an antibody solution is added, the sample is reacted, and after a cleaning operation is performed, a biotin-labeled secondary antibody is added, an enzyme labeling liquid is then added, and the sample is reacted. In addition, a peroxidase-coloring liquid is added, a coloring operation is stopped for a definite time, and the absorbance or the fluorescent intensity of the sample is measured. Then, a measured value is applied to a standard curve, the anexin in the specimen is quantitatively determined, it is compared with the amount of the anexin in a healthy person, and it is judged whether the specimen is positive or not.
