Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently convert a product acquired by reductive reaction of carbon dioxide into another product.SOLUTION: The chemical reaction system includes: an electrochemical rection device which includes a reductive reaction part for housing an electrolytic solution containing carbon dioxide and for producing a first product in the electrolytic solution by reducing the carbon dioxide; a reactor which includes a reaction chamber for housing a reaction solution containing the electrolytic solution supplied from the electrochemical reaction device and for producing a second product in the reaction solution by causing a chemical reaction of a reactant containing the first product in the reaction solution; and a separation/recovery device which includes a separation chamber for housing a mixed solution containing the reaction solution supplied from the reactor and for extracting and recovering at least a part of the second product from the mixed solution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
