To take chemicals in and out of a tray through one action for a chemical setting apparatus and a chemical rug for recognizing the setting conditions and using conditions of the chemicals on the tray on the basis of tag detection.

The chemical setting apparatus includes: a detector 10 provided with an antenna 14 connected to a tag reader 15 and a tray part 13 fixed or mounted on the upper part; and the chemical rug 20 which is provided with a seat body part 21 where one chemical 8 can be mounted and placed, a movable part 26 whose position (or posture) is regulated by the chemical 8 and an electronic tag 24 for switching the propriety state of communication through the antenna 14 corresponding to the position (or posture), and is in such a size that two or more pieces can be put in the tray part 13.
