Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce cost and facilitate the adjustment of a discharging amount by a method wherein at least two sets of reciprocating pumps or medical solu tion pouring pumps, having different discharging capacity ratio, are driven by one motor while the length of stroke of respective pumps can be adjusted freely and independently.

CONSTITUTION: When ammonium for adjusting pH value is poured into the feed water of a boiler, three pumps 1-3, which are having different discharging capacity ratio, are connected integrally to the driving shaft 5 of one motor 4 while a chemical solution, pumped out of an ammonium tank 6 and discharged out of respective pumps 1-3, is poured into the chemical solution pouring point of the boiler through a medical solution pouring line 8. In this case, when the pumps are constituted of two series of pumps 1, 2 and the capacity of these pumps are set at 100 by adjusting the strokes thereof, turn down to 1:20 can be effected when the capacity ratio is determined so as to be 75 and 25. On the other hand, when the pumps are constituted of three series of the pumps, the turn down can be effected to 1/100 when the capacity ratios thereof are determined so as to be 75, 20 and 5.
