Abstract:
To provide a heat treatment method which uses microwaves or high frequency electromagnetic waves and enables operation without forfeiting the advantages of continuous dielectric heating and also enables great investments savings.SOLUTION: There is provided a heat treatment method comprising subjecting a reactant to an electromagnetic wave in an intermittent manner combined with a recycling system, wherein the frequency of the electromagnetic wave is 3 MHz to 300GHz and the reactant includes at least one compound selected from the group consisting of plant-derived oils, vegetable-derived fats, saturated fatty acids, unsaturated fatty acids, saturated fatty acid esters, unsaturated fatty acid esters, animal-derived fats, animal-derived oils, saturated hydrocarbons, unsaturated hydrocarbons, and mixtures thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
