Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment agent improved in secular stability, and, even in the case of being stored at high temperature in a summer season, capable of suppressing the decomposition of effective components for slime control, and a water treatment method using the same.SOLUTION: Provided is a water treatment agent comprising: a chlorine based oxidizer; a chlorine stabilizer; and an anionic copolymer having a pH of 2 to 6, in which the anionic copolymer being at least one kind selected from (A) a copolymer, as monomer components, including (meth)acrylic acid and an unsaturated monomer having a sulfonic acid group; the alkali metal salt of the copolymer (A) and the alkaline earth metal salt of the copolymer (A), and also provided is a water treatment method using the same.SELECTED DRAWING: None
