Abstract:
To provide a chemically resistant foam in which the cell structure, thermal resistance, flexibility and weight before immersion can be maintained well even after the foam is immersed in an organic solvent, acid aqueous solution and the like.
The chemically resistant foam contains a foam having spherical bubbles, wherein: an average pore diameter of the spherical bubbles is less than 20 μm; and the change ratio of the average pore diameters thereof before and after immersion test with one solvent of 10% aqueous hydrochloric acid, acetone and ethanol is 5% or lower.
