Abstract:
A container which is useful for a chemical illuminant and which exhibits excellent heat resistance, is not susceptible to breakage due to an inner breakable ampule, and can be easily bent to a moderate extent. This container for a chemical illuminant is a container such that two chemical components are mixed in the container to cause chemiluminescence, wherein: the container for a chemical illuminant comprises an outer case and an inner case which is enclosed in the outer case; the inner case is a breakable ampule which contains one of the two chemical components therein; and the outer case is a case such that the other of the chemical components can be contained in a zone which is inside the outer case and which is outside the inner case enclosed in the outer case. The container is characterized in that: the outer case is made of a composition which contains a polypropylene resin; and the outer case has a narrowed part, or is in the shape of an approximately rectangular parallelepiped.
