Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve a noise-proof characteristic and a mutual interference characteristic with an adjacent track circuit by conducting train detection in which a track circuit used is in a spectrum spread communication method.
CONSTITUTION: This train position detecting device consists of a signal spreading means 2 that spreads and processes a specified transmit signal with a PN code, a transmitting means 3 that transmits a spread signal spread by the signal spreading means 2 to the side (A) of the starting end of a rail that forms a track circuit, a receiving means 5 that receives the spread signal from the side (B) of the terminal end of the rail, an extracting means 6 that demodulates and processes the spread signal received by the receiving means 5 using the specified transmit signal and extracts PN code, and a detecting means 8 that detects the coincidence state of the extracted signal extracted by the extracting means and the PN code and detects the existence of a train on the rail from the presence of the coincidence state, and the transmit signal, kinds and phases of PN codes are changed to eliminate mutual interference with an adjacent track circuit.
