Abstract:

PURPOSE: To remove feces deposited on the upper surface of a caterpillar belt having a driving means to prevent diseases caused by the feces and also prevent the generation of breast injuries in growing chickens by disposing rearing chambers above the caterpillar belt and transferring the caterpillar belt.

CONSTITUTION: A chicken-rearing house is constituted of a housing 1, a caterpillar belt 2 and a driving means for the caterpillar belt 2. Rearing chambers 4 are disposed above the upper surface of the caterpillar belt. The caterpillar belt comprises floor plates 5 connected with a flexible belt. Separating walls 6 for dividing the chicken-rearing chambers are disposed above the upper surface of the caterpillar belt. The caterpillar belt is transferred to remove the feces deposited thereon.
