Abstract:
To provide a chiller apparatus from which a fluorocarbon refrigerant can be surely extracted.SOLUTION: A chiller apparatus includes a first refrigerant passage in which cooling water is circulated, a second refrigerant passage in which a fluorocarbon refrigerant is circulated from a return port to a discharge port, and a heat exchanger for cooling the fluorocarbon refrigerant by the cooling water. There are provided: a tank between the return port and the heat exchanger; a pump between the tank and the heat exchanger; a discharge rate adjusting valve between the heat exchanger and the discharge port; a check valve between the heat exchanger and a flow rate adjusting valve,; and a main extraction opening, a first auxiliary extraction opening and a second auxiliary extraction opening in a lower part of the chiller apparatus. The second refrigerant passage on the discharge port side of the heat exchanger and the main extraction opening are connected with each other by a first main drain passage, the second refrigerant passage in which the pump is provided and the main extraction opening are connected with each other by a second main drain passage, the second refrigerant passage between the check valve and the flow rate adjusting valve, and the first auxiliary extraction opening are connected with each other by a first auxiliary drain passage, and the second refrigerant passage between the return port and the tank, and the second auxiliary extraction opening are connected with each other by a second auxiliary drain passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
