Abstract:
To provide a method of manufacturing a chip antenna which is made compact and is readily manufactured, has excellent antenna characteristics and is adaptive to a wide band.
A feed electrode section 5, in a shape of tapered slot, is subjected to insert molding so that it is covered with substrate materials 3a and 3b constituting a dielectric substrate and having different dielectric constants, thus a feed conductor and the dielectric substrate are molded into a single body to obtain a chip antenna 1.
