Abstract:

To improve convenience of a user in the aspect of an operation while maintaining high security.

The chip for authentication is built in electronic equipment so as to be used for authenticating the user of the electronic equipment, and is closed when authentication fails a specific number of times in a row. The closed state can be released according to non-contact access from a specific portable reader/writer. Instead of release of the closed state, data can be read from a storage means installed in the electronic equipment.
