Title:
CHIP FEEDER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0645789
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To lessen a chip feeder in floor space by a method wherein tables are mounted on a rotary body in a radial manner and made to pivot.

CONSTITUTION: Chips of the same or different types are mounted on tables 14, 15, 16, and 17, and the tables are fixed to the projections 13a, 13b, 13c, and 13c of a rotary body 13 by brackets BL. Then, a table out of the tables 14, 15, 16, and 17 where a chip to pick up is placed is made to face on a pick-up station by driving a pivoting means, and the other tables are kept on standby at other stations on the same vertical plane with the pick-up station. When another table is required to face on the pick-up station, the rotary body 13 is made to pivot on the vertical plane by actuating a pivoting means again to make the table where a needed chip is placed face on the pick-up station. By this setup, a die bonder can be lessened in floor space to save an installation space.
