PURPOSE: To provide a chip removing device for a cutting machine without removing the chip removing device each time and capable of escaping if necessary when a scrap is put in from the downstream of a cutting tool for cut disposal.

CONSTITUTION: A cutting machine body 5 having a cutting tool 11 is mounted and a chip removing device 19 is mounted movable to a direction substantially orthogonal to a material supplying direction in respect to a product carrying-out part 17 provided in the downstream of the cutting tool 11.
