Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a chip removing device for a sawing machine in which the vibration of a brush in the state that the brush has been thrusted in the saw blade can be prevented, so that the wear of the brush due to the vibration can be reduced, and also the torque to be required for rotating the brush can be reduced.
CONSTITUTION: A saw-blade housing 11 equipped with a saw blade 21 is provided with a brush supporting member 35 by which a circular brush 45 for removing the chip attached to the saw blade 21 is rotatably supported, and a stopper member 61 on which the brush 45 can be abutted is provided in the position near to the saw blade 21, and the brush supporting member 35 is provided so as to be movable in the direction it is approached to or withdrawn from the stopper member 61, and also an energizing means 67 (not shown) for energizing the brush 45 in the direction it is abutted on the stopper member 61 is provided, and further a fixing means 75 for fixing the brush supporting member 35 is provided.
