Abstract:
To provide a chip seal usable for a scroll compressor using carbon dioxide being a non-fleon refrigerant as a refrigerant, and superior in a dimensional tolerance.
A spiral shape is used for the scroll compressor having a spiral lap erected on an end plate surface, and having a fixed scroll and a movable scroll, and is housed in a groove formed in the extending direction of a spiral on the end surface of the lap, and slidingly contacts with opposed end plates. The chip seal is an injection mold of resin. The injection mold has a polishing margin of a projecting shape on an anti-sliding contact surface. A sliding contact surface and the anti-sliding contact surface are polished on both surfaces.
