PURPOSE: To obtain a chip-shaped filter, for noise counter measures, wherein it is small-sized and its height is low as well as its mounting property and its mass productivity are excellent as the component, for noise counter measures, of a high-density mounting circuit board for a small-sized and thin digital apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: A filter is constituted so as to provide the following: a square plate-shaped ceramic substrate 10; an inductor layer 20 which is formed on one face of the ceramic substrate 10 and in which a thick-film conductor pattern is formed on a magnetic layer; a capacitor layer 30 which is formed on the other face of the ceramic substrate 10 and in which thin-film conductor counter electrodes 80, 90 have been provided in a dielectric layer; and a first external electrode 40 for signal line use, a second external electrode 50 for signal line use and an external electrode 60 for ground use which have been formed at end parts of their laminated body. Thereby, it is possible to obtain a chip-shaped EMI filter whose mounting property and mass productivity are excellent.
