Abstract:
To provide a chip scattering prevention tool for a drill easy in handling, and capable of further surely preventing scattering of chips.SOLUTION: A chip scattering prevention tool comprises a chip storage body 2 having a lid part 22 on one end in a cylindrical shape and forming a blade insertion hole 22a capable of inserting a drill blade 102 into the lid part 22, a magnetic body 3 freely slidable in the axial direction of the chip storage body 2 by covering an outer peripheral surface of the chip storage body 2 in the cylindrical shape constituted of a magnet and a separation prevention mechanism for preventing the chip storage body 2 and the magnetic body 3 from separating, and in a state of overlapping the magnetic body 3 with the chip storage body 2, chips 100a in the chip storage body 2 stick to an inner peripheral surface of the chip storage body 2 by magnetic force of the magnetic body 3, and when dislocating the magnetic body 3 from the chip storage body 2, the chips 100a separate from the chip storage body 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
