PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rare earth complex polymer showing chiral optical properties, and an optical function material prepared therewith.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a rare earth complex polymer represented by formula (1). Preferably, the rare earth complex polymer comprises an optical acetyl acetone group having perfluoro alkyl, or alkyl. (A is a divalent organic group; L is an acetyl acetone group; at least one of A and L has an optical activity; R-Rindependently represent a substituted/unsubstituted monovalent aromatic group; n is an integer of 1-20; m is an integer of 1-4; l is an integer of 1-100000; Ln is a trivalent rare earth ion.)SELECTED DRAWING: None
