Abstract:
To provide a chiral complex which, when used as a catalyst, can make an aromatic boronic acid undergo asymmetric 1,4-addition to a conjugated enone in an aqueous solvent under relatively mild conditions and can be recovered by filtration; and a method for producing an optically active β-substituted carbonyl compound using the same as the catalyst.SOLUTION: Provided is a chiral rhodium complex represented by the following formula (α).
