Abstract:
To provide a chisel having the most suitable shape to demolish an iron trough and the best trough demolishing method by clearing this using method.
In the chisel 7 fitted to a demolishing machine for repairing the iron trough of a blast furnace, the chisel 7 is formed as a triangle-shape at the tip cross section or as almost sector-shape having arc or crescent-shape at the one side. Further, at the time of performing the demolishment of the trough, the one side of the tip cross section of the chisel or the line connecting both ends of the almost sector-shape or the crescent-shaped are formed as the arc-shape of the one side becomes parallel to the longitudinal direction of the trough to execute the demolishing work of the trough.
