Abstract:

To provide a method for leaching a lead anode-slime with chlorine, in which bad filtration of slurry can be canceled at the time of leaching with leaching solution such as aqueous sulfite solution in a refining method where silver powder is recovered in a following wet-process by using leached residue produced by leaching the lead anode-slime with the chlorine, as a raw material.

This invention relates to the method for leaching the lead anode-slime containing a silver and the other valuable metals with the chlorine, and this method includes the following processes of (1)-(3). (1) The lead anode-slime is roasted at 100-350°C to obtain the roasted product. (2) The roasted product is suspended in the acidic water solution to form the slurry. (3) The chlorine gas is blown in the slurry to apply the chlorine-leaching, and thus, the leached residue containing the silver in form of the silver-chloride and the leaching liquid containing the valuable metals, are obtained.
