Abstract:
To provide chloroprene latex which maintains stability while stored, and can be used over a long period of time; and to provide an adhesive composition containing the same.
The chloroprene latex is characterized in that the particle diameter (median diameter) D50 (m) of the latex is in a range represented by formula (1): 0.037lnT(C)D50(m)0.2, (wherein, lnT (C) represents natural logarithm of the polymerization temperature (C)), and the weight ratio E(%) of an emulsifier contained in the latex is in a range represented by formula (2): -10D50(m)+3E(%)-15D50(m)+6. The adhesive composition contains the chloroprene latex.
