PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an engine while maintaining the conventional operation of a choke lever by moving a choke plate in a direction for blocking an opening in the case of operating the other end of the choke lever toward a position over an engine, and moving the choke plate in a direction for opening the opening in the case of operating the other end of the choke lever toward a position under the engine.
SOLUTION: In the case of operating an operating part 32b of a choke lever 32 toward a position under an engine, a choke plate 31 is positioned under an opening 23 so as to open the opening 23. In the case of operating the operating part 32b of the choke lever 32 toward a position over the engine, the choke plate 31 is turned upward from the lower position around a support port 31c. The choke lever 31 is moved on the peripheral edge surface 23a upward from a position under the opening 23 so as to block the opening 23. A fitting position of the choke lever 32 and the choke plate 31 to an air cleaner plate 21 is respectively provided in side of the opening 23 so that engine height can be lowered to an upper position of the opening 23.
