A choke coil comprises: an annular coil 6; and a core 1 which has a closed magnetic circuit formed by a first core 5 inserted into a central portion of the coil and second cores 3 and 4 arranged on an outer periphery of the coil. In the choke coil, the first core 5 is provided with a gap G, and a magnet for applying magnetic bias is arranged in the gap G. The magnet is made up of a plurality of split magnets 7 divided in a plane perpendicular to a direction in which magnetic fluxes of the first core 5 interlink one another.
