Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy various demanding properties by controlling a choke valve to be fully opened or have a required angle even during a lapse of time after starting an engine, in a choke valve control device for a carburetor.
SOLUTION: A choke operating lever 32, a choke spring 30 energizing the choke valve 25 in an opening valve direction, and a slow returning means 38 gently controlling valve opening action of the choke valve 25 are connected to the choke valve 25 of the carburetor 23. A cam 37 rotating by interlocking with opening/closing operation of the choke operating lever 32, and a cam follower 44 opening/closing the choke valve 25 by following cam surfaces 37a to 37d of the cam 37 are interposed between the choke operating lever 32 and the choke valve 25.
