Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a choke valve control device for a carburetor, meeting requirements for making a required time for opening a choke valve longer, the lower ambient temperature is.
SOLUTION: The choke valve control device for the carburetor comprises the choke valve 25 connected with a choke operation lever 32, a choke spring 30 for energizing the choke valve 25 in the opening direction and a damper 38 for controlling the opening operation of the choke valve 25 to be gradually gentle when the choke valve 25 in a fully closed position is opened. The damper 38 is formed to be oil operated by a damper housing 40, a rotor 41 rotatably stored in the damper housing 40 and a damper oil 42 filled in the damper housing 40 for granting viscose resistance to the relative rotation of the rotor 41 and the damper housing 40. One of the damper housing 40 and the rotor 41 is integrally connected with the choke operation lever 32.
