Title:
CHORUS EFFECT IMPARTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3287230
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form harmony tones having the fluctuation of pitch similar to the vocal tones inputted from a microphone.
SOLUTION: A pitch detector 11 detects the pitch IP of the vocal tone signals outputted from an A/D converter 5. A CPU 2 determines the ratio between this pitch IP and the vocal pitch data VP supplied from a sequencer 1 and adds this ratio to the information for assigning the pitch of the intrinsic harmony tones. This CPU sends the output pitch information obtd. as a result thereof to any of pitch converters 61 to 6n. Of these converters 61 to 6n, the pitch converter which receives the output pitch information converts the vocal tone signals to the harmony tone signals of the pitch assigned by the output pitch information and outputs these signals.
