Abstract:
To stably increase the chrome separation recovery rate in a process of separating and recovering chrome iron ore from nickel oxidized ore slurry through multi-step physical separation treatment.SOLUTION: A method of recovering chrome iron ore by performing multiple separation processes step by step so as to separate and recover chrome iron ore from nickel oxidized ore slurry comprises, as an uppermost stream-side separation process, a classification process S21 of classifying ore slurry by the granularity difference between grains contained in the ore slurry by means of a hydrocyclone 1. In the classification process S21, the ore slurry input pressure into the hydrocyclone 1 is from 0.17 MPa to 0.22 MPa inclusive, and the spigot diameter of the hydrocyclone 1 is from 30 mm to 45 mm inclusive.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
