PURPOSE: To obtain a desirable posture of a molding in the next process of a molding machine simply and surely only by this chuck device and the molding machine using this device.

CONSTITUTION: A chuck holder 40 for following a certain locus so as to run cyclically, a rod 57 which is mounted on this holder so as to advance/retreat freely and a chuck piece 59 on whose top end is moved respondingly by this advance/retreat and a twist means T by which the chuck piece is rotated around the shaft center of the rod are provided. An installation stand 1, an arm 10 whose base part is supported on this installation stand and which can swing reciprocatingly around its upper part and a damper 20, one end of which is installed on this arm and by which the bound of this arm is restrained at the reciprocatingly swing end are provided in a chuck device staying on the swinging top end of the arm.
