Abstract:
To provide a chucking device capable of chucking a work with high accuracy.
A pair of hands 14 have a rack 15. The hands 14 slide by a rail 12 and a block 13. A pinion gear 17 is engaged with the rack 15. A first pressing force is applied to one hand 14 by a screw 18 having a torque limiter. The first pressing force is transmitted to the other hand 14 by an arm 23 as a second pressing force in the direction opposite to the first pressing force. Thus, the forces are equally applied to a pair of hands 14 from both outer sides to chuck a work 100.
