Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the adjustments of the rotation of a chute which releases snow from a snowplow, while providing a clicking feel and accurately detecting its rotating position and to surely hold the chute at time rotating position.
SOLUTION: An auger paddle provided inside an auger housing is driven by a power source and the snow collected by the auger paddle is released via a chute rotatably provided at a snow discharge opening in the auger housing. A number of recessed parts 25 each of which is arc-shaped on plan view are provided on the outer peripheral surface of the base part of the chute at predetermined intervals, and a torsion spring 27 which is engaged with one of the recessed parts is provided at the snow discharge opening in the auger housing. The torsion spring is attached to the sides 20c, 20e of the auger housing at both ends thereof so that its coil part 27a springs in the direction to be engaged in the recessed part 25 of the chute.
